Chop Suey's primary ingredient – Meat, Cabbage, Carrot, Chayote

Chop Suey is made up mostly of the ingredients listed above, along with spices such as garlic, onion, salt, and cooking oil. Chop Suey would be incomplete without the vegetable nutrients it provides. The minced onion, garlic, and salt, along with the meat, add spice to the soup. With one or more ingredients lacking, you can't cook a superb chop suey. However, you can try adding other vegetables as an alternative to the ones mentioned, such as broccoli and bell peppers are also perfect addition for a delicious chop suey.

Ingredients

  • 2 leaves of cabbage
  • medium-sized carrot
  • medium-sized chayote
  • 1/4 cup of meat
  • 1 tsp. of salt
  • 1 tbsp. of cornstarch
  • 4g of all-in-one seasoning
  • 1 piece of garlic
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 1 tbsp. of cooking oil

Directions

  1. Heat the meat, garlic, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a pan until the meat has dried out.

  2. Once the meat is dry, add the onion, chopped carrots, and chayote to the pan with the cooking oil.

  3. Stir all the ingredients present in the pan and add half a cup of water to the mix.

  4. Mix another half cup of water with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and pour the mixture into the pan.

  5. Allow it to boil for around four minutes.

  6. After letting it to boil for a few minutes, add the cabbage and all-in-one seasoning.
