Hash Brown's primary ingredients – Potato, Flour, and Eggs

To prepare the hash brown, you will need the three components listed above. In order to make hash browns, one of the major components is potatoes. Without it, you won't be able to make the dish. The same goes for flour and eggs. Aside from its binding abilities, it also gives taste to the mashed potatoes, similar to how salt is used.

Cooking Tips

  • To make sure the potato will not be burned when frying, put it under medium heat.
  • If you wish to add additional potatoes, don't use more salt since it will simply make the recipe saltier. But if it's something you really want, go for it. It's all about what you prefer at the end of the day.
  • Do not start placing the potato in the frying pan if the oil is not heated enough, since it will not be cooked well and the formed potato will split into pieces, making it difficult to fry.
  • If you want it to be neatly formed, refrigerate it for a few minutes or hours longer and use enough of cooking oil before frying it.

  • 3 pieces of potato
  • 5 tablespoon of flour
  • 3 medium-sized eggs
