It is made from common ingredients that you can find in your pantry, or you can also buy it in grocery stores at a cheap price. This Buko Pandan recipe is a combination of buko (young coconut), pandan flavor, mangoes, milk, water and all purpose cream. It's a family-favorite drink especially in the afternoon. Kids will surely love this.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Buko Pandan Jelly Powder
  • 1 1/2 cups young coconut cut into strips
  • 250ml all-purpose cream
  • 300ml condensed milk
  • 3 medium-sized ripe mangoes
  • 8 cups water

Directions

  1. In a sauce pan, add 8 cups of water over medium heat. When the water is about to boil, simultaneously add the buko pandan powder while continuously stirring. When the powder is completely dissolved, remove from heat and transfer in a rectangular container.

  2. Set aside and let cool until the jelly has set. When the jelly mixture has set, cut into small rectangular or square shape. Set aside.

  3. Slice the mangoes with the same cut as the pandan jelly.

  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the buko pandan jelly, mangoes, coconut strips, all-purpose cream and condensed milk together and mix well. Let cool in the fridge for 1-2 hours. Serve and enjoy!
